Despite her inexperience with her telekinesis, she shouldn't have been able to resist the need to understand. She should have killed, should have been unable to help herself as he hadn't been able to resist the lure of murdering Brian Davis, and it shouldn't have mattered whether or not she could cut her victim open. Want would have found a way and it irritated him that she had been able to show restraint where he hadn't -- not that he'd ever really wanted to, but still -- but it was also impressive. She had more control than him; he wondered why.
