He throws up his other hand, near immediately, box stopping mid-air. A brief moment of hesitation follows, as he puts his thoughts in order, multi-tasking like no other, and then he sends the splinters flying at her, mindful of her head. He may be in a mood, but he's still not sure how Peter survived, the last time he did something like this, and he's not particularly keen on the idea of killing his niece. Not when this is meant as a lesson--a release--rather than an actual life or death battle.
