Rage followed her challenge, wiring his jaw shut tightly, and he reached out. Lightly, he traced his fingers over her cheek and then he was pulling his hand away, fingers flicking out to throw her against the wall none too kindly and pin her there. His other hand came up, level with her hairline, and the grin returned though it never touched his eyes.
