Resting his elbows against his knees, hoping that would be enough to keep Nathan from taking a swan dive into the ground, he took a deep breath and held it, pinning down one of the other man's memories. It didn't take much effort -- frighteningly little, in fact, when before he'd needed something solid, something he could pull memory from, to get Nathan to return -- and he shuddered.
