He pressed his tongue to the roof of his mouth, considering the question, and then made a face. He'd realized he was hungry right away -- likely because his body had lept to repair what damage his inactivity had done to him, and that had only sharpened the intense empty feeling in the pit of his stomach -- but thirsty? It hadn't occurred to him until just now how dry his mouth really was.
