1. Considering how many people are already on the planet and how many people are born every day? Overpopulation. It might not be an end to humanity, but it'd sure as hell kill this planet faster than anything else.
2. Back when I was a kid, I remember being told that rainbows were God's way of promising that He'd never end the world in a flood again. I don't buy that. It might not be a rainstorm of biblical proportions this time, but I think the ice caps melting and the seas reclaiming everything still counts as a flood.
3. World War III, anyone?
4. There's a theory known as the Big Crunch theory -- it's basically the scientific opposite of the Big Bang Theory. The universe starts collapsing until all that's left is a black hole singularity. It might take awhile, but I'm pretty sure that'd end the world, don't you?
[Choices; locked] 5. People like Peter not being able to control themselves. I'm not saying it would be Peter, necessarily -- he's learned to keep a handle on himself since Kirby Plaza -- but still. [/locked]
6. Me. Oops?
7. Famine. This sort of goes along with my overpopulation theory. There are too many people and sooner or later, there won't be enough food to support everyone. The rich will hoard everything, the poor will starve to death, and then there'll be no one left to farm. If there's anywhere left to farm in the first place, considering what a good job people are doing raping this planet.
8. Rocks fall, everybody dies. The sun goes supernova, everybody dies.
9. In the history of the Earth, twelve ice ages have occurred. Another one wouldn't necessarily destroy the world, but it would kill everyone, just like it killed off the dinosaurs, and we'd be nothing more than a stain in the history books for whatever species came after us.
10. Not with a bang but a whimper.
