What he'd meant in starting that was to suggest that, perhaps, the geneticist could take a sample from him. He, after all, could die long enough for him to get a clear reading and then bounce back, no harm done. Maybe it was a little reckless of him to suggest that, but he'd been looking for a way to test the extent of his regenerative capabilities, and any fear he might have had had evaporated the second he'd been allowed to take his aptitude back. Possibly because every time his brain changed - to accommodate new powers, to rid himself of sedation, whatever - came a sort of pleasant insanity. And fear had no place there.
