The power had yet to come back up, after all. He could imagine technicians somewhere scrambling around, fumbling for a reason why it had gone down in the first place, and then striving to fix them. It would take time, maybe another half an hour or so by his best guess, but by then he would have to be gone. So they were stuck between a rock and a hard place, it seemed.
