1. God. If He really existed, half of the terrible things that have happened to me wouldn't have happened. The things that He let me do to other people wouldn't have happened.
2. The Loch Ness monster. I saw something on the History Channel a few weeks ago, saying that people had found proof of its existence, but I still don't buy it. If it was real, someone would have found it and taken it apart for study by now.

4. That people are, as a whole, good. People are liars and thieves, and even the best people? The people that are supposed to be the good guys? Even they have their dark spots and dirty little secrets. It's human nature. We're all mad here.
5. The idea that Michael Jackson's ghost is haunting his house. I've seen things I wouldn't think were possible, but I can't buy into that. Even if there's apparently footage of his ghost from some tribute to him or his house that Larry King did. He's dead. Get over it.
6. That aliens would actually come to this planet. I'm not saying I don't think there's life on other planets -- it's a statistical impossibility for us to be the only living things in the universe -- I just don't think they'd come here. Maybe they can't get here with the technology that they have. Maybe they're of the same mind I am -- that humans are animals. Who knows? I just can't see them showing up to abduct people.
7. Happy endings. I'm not saying that people can't be happy, I'm just saying that it doesn't end there. Life is full of ups and downs. It wouldn't be life if the hammer didn't fall at one point or another.
8. I have a hard time believing in magic, even though I've seen it. Maybe I'd be better off saying I have a hard time believing some idiot with a spell book could do much to me, considering how much power I have.
9. The superstition that black cats -- breaking mirrors -- whatever is bad luck.
10. The idea that I'll ever be able to truly control the hunger. I'm making progress, but I don't think I'll ever get away from it.
11. That I'll ever finish this damn project I've been working on. I keep hitting roadblocks. This shouldn't be happening. I should be able to figure out a way around things.
12. That Mexico could ever be a fun vacation spot.
13. And since I watched Jurassic Park, last night -- I don't believe that man could recreate dinosaurs. Possible science behind the idea or not, I don't think it's possible. Or that people are that stupid.
