"I'm not that person anymore," he muttered in response to the idea that he wouldn't kill her. He'd proven that, he figured, in all the hesitation he'd done when he'd first burst in here, threatening her. He just couldn't do it, no matter how much he told himself he wanted to. His mother had trained him well.
He sighed, making a face. "And I told you why I was here already. No more Company, no where to be. Pinehearst won. You'd be out of a job with or without me."
