Rolling his eyes, albeit amused, he took the phone from her and punched the number into his. He did not hit send right away, however, instead he allowed himself a moment, the skin and muscle of his throat suddenly alive and rioting. He cleared his throat when it stilled, flashed his counterpart a devious smile, and then hit the send button. And when the call connected and whoever was on the other side picked up, he spoke in a voice that did not belong to him.
"Ah, hello, my name's Noah Bennet -- " If her version of the man in the hornrimmed glasses was, well, a man, she might have recognized the voice he was using as his. " -- I'm calling about -- ah, yes. Yes, that's it, exactly. I'm glad the woman at home office told you to expect my call. ... yes, I'm terribly sorry about that."
He flashed Gabriella a look that was equal parts surprised and triumphant and then curled back around the phone. "Absolutely. If I could just have you address?" He didn't bother to wave a pen over, memorizing where the apartment was as she read it off to him. "Thank you. We'll be by in about half an hour." Another pause, and then, "Have a nice day."
He hung up here, his throat running rampant again, stopping only when he cleared it, and set the phone down on the table. "Well. Looks like we've got half an hour to get across town."
