Sylar ignored both the faces Gabriella was making and the woman's cries, the latter of which tapered off after a few seconds of his power sawing through her skull, anyway. He took a deep breath as he finished, letting it out a shuddering sigh, and released his hold on her, an idle glance chanced at the bright red smear she left on the cheap wallpaper before he knelt down next to her.
"Ten bucks says she loses her security deposit for that," he muttered gleefully as he peeled back the top of her skull. If Gabriella said anything in response, however, he missed it, fingers already on the woman's brain, searching for his prize.
