Claire hasn't been sleeping right -- I'm sure most of you have noticed. I figured out why.

There's something in her head. Looked like shadows, but beyond that I couldn't tell you what it was. It threw me out of the dream she was having before I could get a better look at it.

She's awake now, and I want her to stay that way -- not like she's getting any rest when she's asleep, anyway. Take turns keeping her up. Do what you have to. And find out what the hell this thing is so I can kill it.

I got a good fucking idea. I ain't gotten to everyone yet, but I got here yesterday with Hank for Claire's birthday. I also got the results on her blood work.

Short version? She's suffering from a blood disorder that's paranormal in nature. Combination of anemia, bad electrolytes, normal insulin production and crazy glucose levels. Her body's swallowing itself trying to heal from a condition that's as aggressive as her healing ability, if not more.

Something's eating her alive, probably psychically, and if not for her power? She'd have been dead two days before this panel was run.

We been workin' a lead Annie found, a glyph on one of the vampires that attacked Claire. It's a demon's mark, a clan symbol. I talked to Spike, and he says they were researching some hedonist clans in the Trymeran Codex. Most of those Dionysian branches are parasitic in nature. Vampires, telepaths, suc...

The glyph Annie drew don't match the stuff we found on any of the paraphernalia we've picked up around Searchlight. Shares some commonalities, but...fuck, this is hard.

Short version: yeah, wouldn't be fucking surprised.

This thing kicked me out of Claire's head -- it was strong enough to do that. I almost couldn't get her awake. And now they're telling me I can't even kill the damn thing.

So here I am. With my thumb up my ass. Just like when Claire got kidnapped by Pinehearst. Just like when Baileigh lost her memory. What the hell good is having all this power if using it doesn't fix things?

I read your post, but wasn't certain if you didn't have something planned, so I didn't comment. I answered Claire!mun's post, but I'm not certain if this is over or not. If it isn't, I'll be happy to jump in (after all, Hiro would hardly want to be left out), but if it's pretty much over, we can figure that he was in Japan, dealing with business matters while this was going on.

Claire's alright now, but you're welcome to say that Hiro was there, since I'm sure he would have been. But uh, no, I didn't have anything planned. I was just sort of helping to push Claire!mun's plot along, since she asked me to.
