Sylar

I know I'm about a day late and a dollar short with this, but my week has been a bit hectic and I still wanted to say my peace.

On that note, I wanted to start by saying that, like most of the people I write with, I do most of my writing for myself. I enjoy writing, I adore the character and the fandom, and I adore all of the people I've come to know through writing Sylar. Everyone both within the fandom and without have been amazingly accepting and absolutely wonderful. Without you guys, I don't know what I'd do, and without my love of the character, I don't think I'd still be going as strongly as I am, after nearly a year.

Now, all that being said, I really wasn't expecting to get nominated for anything--if you get right down to it, I signed up for two reasons. One, because everyone else was doing it, so I figured, "Eh, what the heck?" and two, so I could support the people I knew who would get the nods because they deserve them, as well as to win. So, to be nominated, particularly for some of the prompt responses I've written lately? Yeah, I think my head's going to explode in a good way.

So, thank you. Thank you to the people that nominated me. Thank you to the people that didn't, but still follow Sylar and what I'm doing with him. Thank you if you've just randomly stumbled upon this journal and you have no idea what's going on or who me or the muse are. Seriously, all of you rock, and I want to spread the love.

And, err, this would be the part where I pimp the voting sections and tell you to go vote for the awesome people I'm lucky enough to write with, but I kinda missed that boat, so ... um. Thingy. ♥
